‘Watching a routine Choreographed by Sher Manu is like watching animation. Not only is her style unique, it is always slick, polished and detailed to the end. To dance well, one must act well, there must be a clever thread of story telling to link steps together and take an audience on a journey. This is what sher does best! Her ability to tell a story, whether it be heartfelt, bizarre or classic is always at full tilt! I believe Sher’s talent lies in the fantasy world of Musical theatre, her ability to think outside the box, to imagine and then bring those ideas to life are amongst the best I have ever seen. It’s also been an absolute pleasure to meet the lady herself and find her to be a highly motivated woman with purpose, dreams, goals and a massive zest for life! i believe that only wonderful things will happen for this gifted artist, she is focused, driven and very very clever. She has also inspired me with the Choreography and I am sure my future work will somehow be influenced by her past work’.

I had the pleasure of working with Sher on many group, duet and solo pieces over a number of years and to this day I treasure all that she has taught me. Her sincere passion and dedication to the story and message of each of her pieces is something that had me leaving the studio each day completely inspired, and is what makes her pieces truly memorable. She creates something more than just choreographed dance numbers, something that resonates in the minds of those performing and those watching. What she creates is truly magic through movement.

Whether it be working with or watching a routine choreographed by Sher, you know you’re in for an experience. The many times I worked with Sher were some of the most creative and inspiring moments I have had as a dancer. My name is Lauren Robinson. I am 27 years old and currently working with Princess Cruise as Cast Manager. I was lucky enough to have Sher as my dance teacher for many years when I was growing up in Wollongong. She taught me so many things that I still keep with me today. She is passionate, dedicated, nurturing and so creative, and this exudes through her work. I am forever grateful that I had my training with Sher.
